In an interview on the British podcast "Someone Who Isn't Me," Corey Taylor was asked if touring with Stone Sour and Slipknot wasn't getting tiring. Check out Taylor's response:

“You know, honestly, if you had asked me a year ago I would have said no. But you know, now… I’m starting to… I’m 42 years old. I’m not young anymore. And as much as I want to, I’m finished. In Slipknot years, I could be 60.”

I don't know if I would retire. I might step away from Slipknot at some point, just because of the way the music is, all that energy. I don't know if I can do that in my fifties. And I never wanted the band to feel like I'm holding them back just because I'm not physically capable anymore. So that means I wouldn't abandon music, I'd probably just step away from Slipknot.
