Slipknot kicked off their European tour on July 20th in Bucharest, Romania. During the show, Griffin Taylor , vocalist of the band Vended and son of frontman Corey Taylor , joined them on stage to sing “Custer,” a song from the album .5: The Gray Chapter . Fans captured the moment, and you can check out the videos at the end of this article.

At the end of last year, Griffin gave an interview talking about the comparisons he receives between his band Vended and his father's band. “Personally, I see people's responses [on social media] and I get a lot of good responses, because I love the audience. I love the fans because they were there for my dad and they'll be there for me, I'm not going to force them into that. But we do get negative reactions because of the comparisons and the similarities. But we are different,” he began.

Vended, in addition to Griffin, consists of Simon Crahan , son of percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan , on drums, and Connor Grodzicki on guitar.

Slipknot is currently touring Europe while also preparing for the release of their album The End, So Far , which will be released on September 30th. In addition to announcing the album, the group released the single “The Dying Song (Time To Sing)”.
