“Hydrograd” does not have a confirmed release date

In an interview with BBC radio, vocalist Corey Taylor said that Stone Sour's new album is probably the coolest album he's ever made since Slipknot's debut album. The new album doesn't yet have a confirmed release date, but it's expected to be released this year.

“We’re almost finished with the album. We’re finishing about one song a day. We started on the 7th and we have 16 songs done, only three left. It’s unbelievable ,” said Taylor.

He continued: “We destroyed everything, it sounds incredible. Everyone is saying the same thing. Not only are the songs good, but the energy is amazing because it was all recorded live (…) It’s probably the coolest album I’ve ever made since the first Slipknot album. And I feel confident saying that because it’s really good.”

Taylor had already revealed that the work would be called "Hydrograd".
