Slipknot and Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor has announced that he has completed recording his first solo album.

The revelation was made on Lzzy Hale 's ( Halestorm) Raise Your Horns show .

Taylor said she had about 25 songs to record.

“I wrote all these songs over the last few years, but they didn’t fit into any of my bands. So it’s material that was lying around, and I’d been talking about doing a solo album. And this was the perfect time,” said Corey Taylor, referring to the isolation caused by the pandemic.

The recordings took place in less than 3 weeks and featured Stone Sour guitarist Christian Martucci , guitarist Zack Throne , Jason Christopher on bass, and Dustin Schoenhofer on drums.
