Corey Taylor reveals in a video whether he would get a face tattoo; watch it

Singer shows off several of his tattoos and chooses his favorites

Like many artists, Corey Taylor incorporates tattoos into his aesthetic as a major frontman . In a video for GQ , he shows and explains the context of his designs and reveals whether he would get a face tattoo.

Taylor goes through the story, from his first fake tattoo with friends in childhood, to his first tattoo at age 19, a classic of the 90s, to his coolest tattoo, the Heath Ledger Joker tattoo , which he got twelve years ago and is still rich in detail, to his favorites, such as his two designs in homage to David Bowie , and also recounts how tattoos became more a part of mainstream in the mid-90s.

Regarding facial tattoos, the singer doesn't even let the interviewer finish speaking, as if he already knows what he's going to ask, and his answer is loud and clear: "Never!", justifying that facial tattoos won't be any different in 20 or 30 years than nipple piercings, they'll look like old high school notebooks.
