Choosing a favorite song from a band we love is sometimes a difficult challenge, other times extremely obvious. For Corey Taylor , the answer to what his favorite Slipknot might surprise you.
“My absolute favorite is ‘Scissors’,” Taylor reveals in a post about the anniversary of the band’s first album on the Knotfest . “To this day, it’s my favorite Slipknot song. I love it because every time we played it, the entire second part was improvised. We played it for each other, freely, with free-flowing lyrics, everything. It was violent and beautiful. (…) Nothing will ever replace that for me – when we stopped playing it live, I had a hard time enjoying our set for very long.”
The last time the song was played at a Slipknot show was almost 20 years ago, on August 13, 2000, in Phoenix, Arizona. Could the song return to the band's setlist
