Corey Taylor has released the single “We Are The Rest”, from his second solo album, CMFT2 , which will be released this Friday, the 15th.
“We Are The Rest” brings together a bit of each style that has been seen in Taylor's solo work so far. The rock of “Beyond” , the Slipknot style of “Post Traumatic Blues” and the punk of “Talk Sick” .
The single was accompanied by a video of Corey Taylor in the studio with his fellow musicians recording the song. Watch the clip at the end of this article.
CMFT2 will serve as a continuation of Taylor's first solo album, CMFT , which was released in 2020. The album was produced by Jay Ruston , who worked on Taylor's first solo album and also on Stone Sour Hydrograd (2017) .
