An unusual partnership came about after an exchange of tweets between the musicians
Corey Taylor, frontman of Slipknot and Stone Sour , recorded a guest appearance on the new version of the song "Stuck in My Ways" by British rapper Kid Bookie .
Taylor enters the track at the 2:33 mark with a light rap that builds as the riff gains momentum. The new version is a fresh take on the song that appeared on the rapper's , Shake Up
The partnership came about after Kid Bookie tweeted to Corey Taylor, "I need to work with you before we leave this planet," and the vocalist replied, "Let's talk." Five days later, the rapper confirmed they were working together.
Kid Bookie released his debut album Publish This in 2018 while Slipknot is preparing the release of their sixth studio album, scheduled for August 9th . So far, one single has been released, “All Out Life”.
