Corey Taylor , vocalist for Slipknot and Stone Sour , is preparing a new studio album featuring covers and acoustic versions.

Taylor revealed the information during the Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk on Sirius XM . The first single is due out this Friday, the 11th, and will be a cover of the track “On The Dark Side” by John Caffery and The Beaver.

According to Blabbermouth , the musician will release the album as a B-side to CMFT , his solo album released in 2020. The website says Taylor revealed the release date for the work as February 25th.

The vocalist, during the interview, said that he will name the work CMFT 2 and revealed that he is already working on the successor, with a projected release date next year. Meanwhile, Slipknot is preparing to release their album later this semester.
