Corey Taylor spoke about Slipknot 's new keyboardist in an interview with the Finnish Chaoszine

The band replaced Craig Jones immediately after announcing that the keyboardist was leaving the group after 27 years. Since then, Slipknot has been playing with a mysterious new member, whose identity has not yet been revealed.

Regarding the sudden change, Corey Taylor commented: “Obviously, whenever a change like that happens, you have to accept the challenges. It took us some time to adjust things, of course, with him being a new guy.”

"He's good, very good. He's a complete musician. It took him a while to find his way, but now he's killing it. Now he's really very good," Corey concluded.

Craig Jones' departure from Slipknot was announced in early June, moments before the band took the stage to begin their European tour . The statement released on social media was brief and to the point, and the post was deleted after the show and replaced with a photo of the new member.

On the same day, percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan announced that he would be sitting out some Slipknot shows to take care of his wife, who is experiencing “health issues.”
