The production of the new mask is being done in partnership with Tom Savini
Corey Taylor , frontman of Slipknot , shared a behind-the-scenes photo of the production of the new mask.
The work is being done with special effects master Tom Savini , of horror films such as Friday the 13th .
Taylor also revealed that the band's crew is now in charge of taking care of the masks after shows. He explained: “Everything starts to deteriorate after a while… We try to remove as much moisture as possible, because that destroys the latex. But we have people who work with us who take care of the masks. At the end of the night they pick them up and make sure they are dry and let them air out.”
