This Friday, the 11th, Corey Taylor released the first single from his new project of covers and acoustic versions . The chosen song was a version of "On The Dark Side" by John Caffery & The Beaver Brown Band .

The new album is called CMFB…Sides and is like a b-side to the 2020 solo album CMFT . The full album will have nine tracks and will be released on February 25th.

Another project by Corey Taylor, this time with Slipknot , is also expected to be released during the first half of 2022. In an interview with Eddie Trunk , the singer confirmed that the new album already has a name and cover and is currently going through the mixing process, which he estimates will take about three months.
