Slipknot's new album will be released in 2019.
Corey Taylor , vocalist of Slipknot , said that fans should expect something "dangerous" on the band's next album.
Kerrang! magazine. “However, we have very serious plans – and I say this because the best way to make God laugh is to announce your plans out loud – to go into the studio early next year and get this going. We have 16 songs written now, and they are very dangerous.”
“I loved .5 , but this album, to me, makes .5 sound like nobody else’s,” he continued. “This one has the heaviness of Iowa . […] I’m very, very excited about it […] We’re all very, very, very excited, so be prepared for 2019 – which, oddly enough, is the 20th anniversary of our first album.”
