During an interview with HardDrive Radio , Corey Taylor revealed that it shouldn't be long before fans hear the band's new album, the successor to We Are Not Your Kind (2019).
“We should have the mix ready in January,” he revealed (via Blabbermouth ). “So, it should be released two or three months later. I still have four songs to redo the vocals on, as I wasn’t satisfied. Otherwise, it’s already done. Clown [percussionist] is working on the cover art and we’re going to film a music video. It’s a matter of time. I’d say it’s 90% ready.”
The vocalist also said that, at the moment, he already likes the new album more than We Are Not Your Kind . "And I loved We Are Not Your Kind ," he added.
In December 2022, Slipknot will come to Brazil to perform at their own festival, Knotfest Brasil . Bring Me The Horizon, Mr. Bungle, Trivium, Sepultura, Motionless In White, Vended, and Project46 are also confirmed for the event's lineup.
