Recently, John 5 and The Creatures released the live album Live Invasion , but one rather precious performance was kept under wraps, ready to be shared with the world at the right time.

This was the case with the cover (not rehearsed even once!) of "You Really Got Me," from the Van Halen (originally released by The Kinks ), with the very special participation of VH bassist Michael Anthony Slipknot and Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor .

It was in homage to the death of the legendary Eddie Van Halen that John 5 decided to release the performance, writing, “It’s hard to put into words the impact Eddie Van Halen had on my life. No one has influenced me more than Eddie; he was an inventor, an incredible songwriter, and the best guitarist that ever lived. Rest in peace, my friend.”
