Slipknot and Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor is already thinking about his next solo albums even though he hasn't released his first one yet.
In an interview for the Eddie Trunk Podcast , Taylor detailed more about the creative process for his solo songs, and excited fans by admitting that he has many tracks to be heard on various future albums. "I'm always thinking about songs, I always like to invent things in my head, and because I'm so almost hyper-focused on things, especially like these, I'll think and exhaust all the ideas that come up with this particular song, whatever I'm working on, until I really understand it."
“Obviously, I’m not a virtuoso,” the artist adds, “But I’ve been able to play along with almost everything I’ve ever written, so that’s useful when you’re looking for an extra level or element when it comes to improving songs or just writing songs completely.”
“I have a lot of stuff like that that I might end up releasing on albums two and three when it comes to solo material, but yeah, I have a lot of things that I hope will see the light of day,” Taylor stated.
