Lead singer is doing well.
UPDATE: Video of the fall has been released and can be seen below.
Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor suffered a serious fall at the end of last night's show in Atlanta. According to fans who were at the event, the vocalist was unable to get up and had to be helped off the stage.
Taylor underwent neck surgery earlier this month and only returned to performing this week, wearing a neck brace . Doctors recommended that the vocalist avoid headbanging .
A fan reported to Blabbermouth: “I was in the front row and after the final song and thanking the audience, Corey Taylor collapsed on stage and had to be carried away by the crew. As I was leaving, paramedics were rushing backstage. During the show he was clearly in pain because of his neck but still giving it his all. The neck problem plus the 40-degree heat of Atlanta and him wearing that fully covered outfit = a frontman at risk. He was shaking and didn't seem to be doing well when they took him off.”
Taylor later posted a message on Twitter assuring fans that she was okay: “ATL: haha don’t worry, I’m fine! I THINK this fall is going to be one for the history books haha! Damn, that hurt – but man, what an audience! See you all again soon!”
