The event will take place in April in Los Angeles.

Dave Navarro and Billy Morrison (Billy Idol) will team up to host a new benefit event to raise awareness for mental health called Above Ground.

The event will support the MusiCares Foundation, the Recording Academy's organization, and will feature Courtney Love and Corey Taylor among the special guests.

“After losing many friends to suicide and depression, and having gone through some personal struggles, we want to help raise awareness and funds for mental health treatment ,” said Morrison. “We want to spread the message that it’s okay to ask for help.”

Taylor and Love will perform alongside Billy Idol, Navarro, and Jesse Hughes (Eagles Of Death Metal) to play the Velvet Underground album, The Velvet Underground & Nico (1967), and Kings Of The Wild Frontier (1980) in their entirety.

Above Ground will take place on April 16th at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
