Nergal , frontman of Behemoth , announced that he will release an album with his dark folk project Me and The Man on March 27th, featuring guest appearances from big names in metal such as Corey Taylor (Slipknot and Stone Sour), Brent Hinds (Mastodon) , and Matt Heafy (Trivium).
New Man, New Songs, Same Shit, Vol. 1 will be released soon and follows the debut of the 2017 project Songs of Love and Death. To celebrate the new release, Nergal released "Surrender" featuring Rob Caggiano of Volbeat , and shared the album cover and tracklist.
“This time I want to challenge myself and choose eleven songs for an album, each with a different style and character,” Nergal said in a statement to the press, “Together we will travel through the lands of blues, folk and country (…) I am very proud of this work and it was a monumental task to undertake.”.
