Corey Taylor has announced a new solo album, titled CMF2B… Or Not 2B . The album will be released on April 20th by BMG as a special Record Store Day and features covers of classic bands such as Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin and Ozzy Osbourne CMF2 album sessions .
Slipknot and Stone Sour vocalist spent the last few months touring to promote his second solo album, CMF2 , released in September 2023. In January, he announced the cancellation of his North American solo tour citing mental and physical health issues , and days later posted a video on his social media giving more details about his health .
In a 2023 interview with Rock Sound [transcription via Blabbermouth ], Corey commented that cover albums and b-sides are an opportunity to celebrate artists who have inspired him since childhood. “There are so many people I haven’t had a chance to acknowledge, recognize, and thank,” the singer reflected. “Let’s not forget that music kept me alive. Music was the only source of happiness for me for a long time, from when I was a kid until my twenties. Music was the only thing that made me feel anything other than horrible about myself. Obviously, I’ve had a chance to show my respect over the years. Because of Slipknot and Stone Sour, I’ve been able to talk about my influences, etc. And what’s cool about doing B-sides is showing those little hints and explosions.”

Knotfest Brazil 2024
Knotfest Brazil has announced the dates for its 2024 edition . The event will take place on October 19th and 20th at Allianz Parque in São Paulo.
The new edition features Slipknot as the headliner for both days of the festival, with a different performance and a unique, unmissable set for each day.
