The unprecedented and highly anticipated tour will take place in November of this year. The only show in Brazil will happen in São Paulo with a new date and venue: November 10th, at Cine Joia.
Kurt Ballou recorded a video to make his health issue public and discuss the postponement of the tour: “A lot of complications occurred and I just spent eight days in the hospital receiving treatment. I’m back, recovering with my family, feeling better and stronger every day, but still on a lot of medication and not fit to travel,” the guitarist said.
Converge and its premiere in Brazil
After a 30-year career, the hardcore metal icon will make his debut on Brazilian soil to play hits from the classic album Jane Doe (2001) and The Dusk in Us (2017). Tracks from many other albums are also expected, such as his most recent release, Bloodmoon: I , from 2021, composed in partnership with the renowned American singer and musician Chelsea Wolfe .
Jacob Bannon (vocals), Kurt Ballou (guitar), Nate Newton (bass), and Ben Koller (drums) will also be touring Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Chile. See more show information below.
