The new compilation “She Rocks, Volume 1”, produced by Steve Vai and Brad Tolinski (editor of Guitar World magazine), brings together 11 great female rock guitarists. The album is scheduled for release in January.
Vai commented on the project: “Over the years, women have become increasingly interested in playing guitar. It’s incredible to see that. Favored Nations [Steve Vai’s record label] is very excited to work with producer Brad Tolinski and create a compilation featuring many of the women who are evolving the instrument in very powerful ways.”
