Collin Brittain , the current drummer for Linkin Park , spoke about how he felt after joining the band in September 2024. The musician, who is also a producer, considers his professional career to be complete.

Zildjian 's On The Road series on YouTube, he said that the feeling of being part of the group is "strangely rewarding." Furthermore, he loves the band, their music, and his colleagues as well.

“It’s like the cycle is complete for me. I started as a drummer, became a producer, and now I’m back playing drums. I love this band, the people, and the music. It’s been a strangely rewarding experience,” he said [transcription via Blabbermouth ].

Collin Brittain also answered whether he can incorporate his own style when performing with Linkin Park . The American stated that the group was part of his development as a musician and, therefore, his style naturally carries elements of the band.

“I consider Linkin Park a big part of my upbringing as a musician, and part of that is embedded in the DNA of how I play, so it was a very natural transition. Obviously, whenever you're playing with someone, you can't help but add your own personality to the instrument. That's the point of seeing a band live. I also try to stay as true as possible to the albums we all know and love,” he concluded.
