Clutch , a global icon of hard rock/stoner, returns to Brazil in April 2020.
The acclaimed American band will perform a single show in São Paulo on April 26th to promote their acclaimed album Book of Bad Decisions.
Clutch is a cult band. On the road since the 1990s and with 12 albums released, they are a recurring name in the world's hard rock/stoner scene – at the top level! They are the kind of band that is always in vogue in the major specialized media, receiving high marks and collecting praise in album reviews and live performances, in addition to being in the same league as big names like Kyuss, Truckfighters, Red Fang and Monster Magnet , always with the support of sought-after studio producers.
And he's returning to Brazil on April 26, 2020, for a single show in São Paulo, at Fabrique Club. The event is presented by Powerline Music & Books in conjunction with Abraxas.
Clutch's return to Brazil comes six years after the band's fiery performance – in 2014 – at the Converse Rubber Tracks in São Paulo, alongside fellow American band The Sword .
Clutch enters 2020 as a rock powerhouse. Formed in 1990 in Maryland (USA), they released their first EP – Pitchfork – on Metallica , Megaforce Records; since then, they've remained active with bombastic compositions that blend stoner rock, blues, hard rock, rock 'n' roll à la Motörhead (one of their hits, "One Eye Dollar," was even considered Clutch's "Ace of Spades" by the legendary and dearly missed Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead) and even have a touch of country. The groove is striking, both in the refined instrumental work and in Neil Fallon .
