Clemente Nascimento celebrates recovery after delicate surgery: "10% chance of survival"

The lead singer of Inocentes is back in São Paulo after more than a month

Clemente Nascimento , an icon of Brazilian punk rock and vocalist and guitarist for the bands Inocentes and Plebe Rude , used his Instagram to celebrate his full recovery and thank the medical team at Santa Casa de Campo Grande, in Mato Grosso do Sul.

The artist felt unwell before a show and underwent complex emergency heart surgery on December 12th. Clemente remained in the ICU for approximately 21 days before being discharged . According to the singer's latest post, the situation was serious, with only a 10% chance of survival.

"I have no words to thank Dr. Raony and the entire team at Santa Casa de Campo Grande for all the dedication and care they provided so that I could survive and recover in the best possible way from the extremely delicate surgery I underwent; a 10% chance of survival became 100%, without any lasting effects, thanks to their competence and care," revealed Clemente.

The following day, the artist posted a photo at Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo, with the caption "I'm back.".
