News report reveals the real health problem of Clemente Nascimento

Through the musician's social media accounts, the family released the following statement:

"We inform you that Clemente remains hospitalized in the ICU of Santa Casa de Campo Grande, recovering from surgery performed on December 12, 2025. Although some media outlets reported that Clemente had a heart attack, his condition was actually much more delicate. He suffered an aortic dissection (types A and B). This is a type of tear that can rapidly lead to rupture of the artery and, consequently, death. One of the main causes of aortic dissection is hypertension, a disease that Clemente had recently begun to investigate, as there is a family history of it.".

According to the medical team, a large number of patients suffering from this type of illness don't even manage to reach the hospital in time, and many don't survive surgery. It's no exaggeration to say that Clemente has been reborn! He continues to recover well and, due to the severity of his condition, remains hospitalized until he can be safely discharged. Clemente is aware of all the affection he is receiving and is very grateful for all the positive vibes and wishes for his recovery!”

Considered one of the pioneers of the punk movement in Brazil since the late 1970s, Clemente began his career with the band Restos do Nada . Later he founded Inocentes in 1981, and has been a member of Plebe Rude since 2004. In addition to being a musician, he also works as a producer, DJ, and presenter.
