The band Claustrofobia releases this Friday, the 5th, the single “Neuro Massacre”, the first from their new album Unleeched , scheduled for release early next year.

Speaking about the new release and the choice of the song as the first sample from the album, Marcus D'angelo said: “We chose 'Neuro Massacre' as the first single because it's a direct song with the traditional aggressiveness of Claustrofobia. At the same time, we added a new tuning never used before by Claustro, with 7-string guitars giving it a contemporary sound.”

The musician continued: “The whole album will have many surprises and we are super excited about the fans' reactions. It will be our first full-length album with bassist Rafael Yamada .” Furthermore, the album will mark the group's first release with Metal Assault Records .

Unleeched was produced by Adair Daufembach alongside the band themselves. Pre-orders for the album are already available in the US and it will soon be available in Brazil, with a release date to be announced.

Brothers Marcus and Caio D'Angelo formed the group in 1994 and together released six studio albums and one DVD. Having toured the world, the band has shared the stage with names like Iron Maiden and Anthrax and opened for Slayer 's last show in São Paulo in 2019.
