CJ Snare , vocalist and founding member of FireHouse , passed away last Friday at the age of 64.
The news was officially released on the band's social media. The statement informs that CJ passed away "unexpectedly at home on the evening of Friday, April 5th." The vocalist was expected to return to the stage with the band in the middle of the year, after recovering from unspecified surgery.
“We are all in total shock at CJ’s untimely death,” wrote FireHouse. “Our deepest condolences go out to the entire Snare family, Katherine Little, friends, and all our beloved fans around the world. Reach for heaven, CJ! You will be eternally missed by your family, friends, fans, and bandmates. You are singing with the angels now.”
The cause of the vocalist's death has not yet been released.
