Testament 's lead singer , Chuck Billy , has tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19). In addition to him, his wife Tiffany and members of the Testament crew have also received the news of their positive results.

The news came via an official statement from the band on their Facebook page.

At the end of February, Testament cancelled their show with Exodus in Milan, Italy , but the band played in several other locations across Europe.

“As many of you already know after returning from the European tour last week, some of us weren’t feeling well and we made the decision, along with our doctors, to get tested for COVID-19, the novel coronavirus. Yesterday morning, Chuck and Tiffany Billy’s test results came back positive, as did those of other members of the team.”

“We want to let everyone who has been helping us and concerned about us know that we are doing what is right and safe. We have all been in quarantine since we returned home, even before the test results came back.”

The message ends by saying:

"Please take care of each other. And stay healthy so we can rock out together in the not-too-distant future."
