A post-black metal band celebrated the 25th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death with a reinterpretation of the classic song
In early March, the band Chrome Waves released the album A Grief Observed , and they didn't stop there. Now, a month after the release, the group has unveiled an unusual cover.
Nirvana 's "Something in the Way" received a black metal version from Chrome Waves in celebration of Kurt Cobain and the 25th anniversary of his death last week.
The band highlighted the melodic side of Cobain's track and worked exclusively on that to create a beautiful tribute to the musician. Listen to their reinterpretation of "Something in the Way" below.
