Actor becomes oldest artist to enter the charts.
A Christmas EP by actor and heavy metal singer Christopher Lee is among the best-selling releases of the week according to the Billboard chart. The album, titled "A Heavy Metal Christmas Too," features versions of the songs Jingle Bells and My Way .
Upon learning that he was among the best-selling artists, the actor from "The Lord of the Rings" and "Star Wars" commented: "Incredible news. I want to thank everyone involved, especially the fans. I've spent my entire career surprising people, and I'm not going to stop now!"
Christopher Lee released his latest album, “Charlemagne: The Omens Of Death”, in May 2013. At 90 years old, Lee is the oldest artist in the genre, and has now also broken Tony Bennett's record, becoming the oldest musician to enter the sales charts.
