Drummer steps in for Phil Rudd on tour
Drummer Chris Slade has revealed that he will be Phil Rudd's replacement in AC/DC for the band's upcoming tour. Rudd is still awaiting trial in a case involving death threats and drug possession , which has been postponed until April.
“This is a great opportunity for me. Most people don’t get the chance to play with their favorite band even once, let alone twice!” commented Slade. The drummer also thanked fans on social media for their support and praise for the musician's choice.
Slade played with AC/DC between 1989 and 1994, and is featured on their 1990 album, "The Razors Edge". The drummer also played at the band's performance yesterday at the Grammys. Watch AC/DC's Grammy performance here .
