Pitman wants US$163,000
According to TMZ, former Guns N' Roses member Chris Pitman is suing Axl Rose for debts totaling around $160,000.
Pitman was part of the group from 1998 until the current reunion, playing keyboards, bass, providing backing vocals, and various other instruments on past tours, and even recorded the band's last album, "Chinese Democracy." Pitman was replaced on the current tour by Melissa Reese.
The musician says Rose gave him a promissory note for $125,000 in debt for his work with the group. In the lawsuit, Pitman claims Rose should have paid the debt in 2012, but did not. With interest, Pitman is now seeking $163,000.
