Soundgarden vocalist Chris Cornell , Pretty Reckless frontwoman Taylor Momsen Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron joined forces for a cover of the track "Halfway There" from Soundgarden's 2012 album, King Animal . The video was released last Friday, the 18th, the 3rd anniversary of the artist's death.
Momsen, who opened for Cornell's last show, said in an interview that she was extremely affected by the death of her musical idol, which occurred a year before that of the band's producer, Kato Khandwala . The artist says that, despite being a cliché, the only thing that pulled her through that difficult phase was music.
