British actor and singer Paul Ayres is portraying the late vocalist, and the cast also includes Andrew Shire as bassist Ben Shepherd , Patrick Holly as drummer Matt Cameron , and Ben Sura playing guitarist Kim Thayil .
Autopsy: The Last Hours Of… is a documentary-style TV series that investigates the tragic, controversial, and sudden deaths of celebrities. Episodes have already been made about James Dean, Elizabeth Taylor, David Bowie, Lou Reed, Johnny Cash , and many others.
Cornell was found hanged in his hotel room in May 2017. The death was ruled a suicide. The singer's wife, Vicky Cornell, said Chris may have abused anxiety medication.
