Chris Cornell passed away in 2017
Toni Cornell Soundgarden, Audioslave , and Temple of the Dog vocalist Chris Cornell , released a cover of Prince song, "Nothing Compares 2 You," which she recorded with her father months before his death.
“Dad, I love you so much and miss you so much,” Toni wrote. “You were the best dad anyone could have. Our relationship was so special, and you were always there for me. You gave me courage when I had none. You believed in me when I didn’t. I miss your love every day. Recording this song with you was a special and incredible experience that I wish I could repeat 100 times, and I know you would too. Happy Father’s Day, nothing compares to you.”
