The new album will be the 10th of Children Of Bodom's career
Children Of Bodom bassist Henkka Seppälä (also known as Henkka T. Blacksmith) confirmed to Metal Mad TV that the band has finished recording their 10th studio album. “It’s recorded, mixed and mastered,” he said. “Now we’re just waiting for the cover art, and it will be ready for release. It looks like it will be next year, so we have to wait a little while.”
The successor to I Worship Chaos , released in 2015, was recorded at the band's own studio, Danger Johnny Studios, in Helsinki, Finland, where the band's last two albums were recorded.
Vocalist and guitarist Alexi Laiho told Metal Hammer in May that the new album would be "Much more straightforward in terms of song structures […] I would say it's more rock n' roll."
