Children of Bodom has announced that they will be performing one last show with the current lineup. Following their December 15th performance in Finland, three of the original members will be leaving the band, leaving only Alexi Laiho and the newest member, Daniel Freyberg .
Drummer Jaska Raatikainen , bassist Henri “Henkka T. Blacksmith” Seppälä , and keyboardist Janne Wirman will no longer be part of the lineup. “After almost 25 years with the band, thousands of shows and 10 albums, it’s time for Henkka, Janne, and Jaska to change direction in their lives,” the band wrote in a statement.
The band also thanked fans for their support and said they will release more information soon. It seems that Children of Bodom will continue, but with new members.
