Chester Bennington's former band releases song the singer recorded at age 17; listen here

The band is preparing an album in tribute to the singer, with no release date yet scheduled

Grey Daze Chester Bennington 's first band before Linkin Park , will pay tribute to the singer with an album of old recordings.

The first song was released by the band today, the 16th. “What's In The Eye” was written by Chester and originally recorded between 1993 and 1996. Several musicians were called upon for the project: Brian “Head” Welch ( Korn ), James “Munky” Shaffer ( Korn ), Marcos Curiel ( POD ), and Chris Traynor ( Bush ). Chester's son, Jaime Bennington .

The official album release date is still undetermined, but it has been revealed that the profits from sales will be donated to the mental health awareness organization founded by the singer's ex-wife, Talinda .

Before his death in July 2017, Chester Bennington had announced a reunion with Grey Daze. Listen to the track below.
