Samantha Bennington , the first wife of Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington , recently released the memoir Falling Love Notes: Memories From A Rock Star Wife .
“I started this memoir project about eight or nine years ago,” she says in an interview with Billboard . “I had planned Falling Love Notes to be released in mid-2017. Unfortunately, our lives changed drastically that June. I couldn’t give my project the attention it needed and deserved to be released while our son [ Draven ], family, and I needed to grieve and work on greater healing.”
“Honestly, my project took a supporting role in my life at that time. Now my ending has changed and I continue to heal. I found a great purpose and needed to finish what I had to start,” she says.
The story covers pivotal moments in Samantha's life, from her childhood, her romance with Chester before, during, and after their marriage, to her current career.
