Chester Bennington: Full autopsy report released.

Details of the tragic suicide of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington have been released by TMZ .

According to the toxicology report, the musician had low levels of alcohol in his system and what they believed to be MDMA (ecstasy). Later, the publication corrected itself, saying there had been an error and Chester had not consumed drugs, indicating that he was not under the influence of any substance when he died.

The report also reveals that there was a bottle of the medication Zolpidem, commonly used by those who have difficulty sleeping, and bottles of beer in his room.

Police also found fingernail clippings under his cell phone and on a table near him, confirming what his widow, Talinda Bennington, told officers about Chester biting his nails when he was anxious.

Talinda also confirmed the musician's history of depression, saying that in 2006, after consuming alcohol, he left home with a gun in his hand.

At the scene of the death, there was no suicide note, which is common in suicide cases, but TMZ revealed that police found what they believe to be a handwritten biography.

Chester Bennington passed away on July 20, 2017, at the age of 41. His death occurred just two months after the suicide of his close friend Chris Cornell . Check out the tribute made by Linkin Park and some of his colleagues.
