On Tuesday, March 23rd, Cheap Trick announced through their press office that they will be releasing their twentieth studio album. The album, titled In Another World BMG release and will be available on digital platforms on April 9th. Access the pre-order and pre-save here .

Cheap Trick recently released the singles “Light Up The Fire” and “Boys & Girls & Rock and Roll,” which will be part of their new album. In a statement, vocalist and founder Robin Zander stated that In Another World should reflect the current world and the delicate period we are living through. “We’ve always been a band with a positive, hopeful outlook, even when we were being ironic. But now that we’re getting older, we see that we don’t have much to celebrate around us,” he said.

In a more optimistic and relaxed atmosphere, guitarist and founder Rick Nielsen commented on the band's enthusiasm for continuing to make music even after almost half a century on the road. We're irresponsible enough not to give up he joked. “We love getting together and playing. On our first album I said, 'I'm 30, but I feel like I'm 16.' And well, I still feel that way… At least until reality catches up with me. But when I play, I feel like the youngest guy in the world.”

With nearly 50 years in the business, Cheap Trick is one of the biggest names in American rock, having sold over 20 million copies and received 40 international gold and platinum certifications. Furthermore, the band has been a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since 2016. Check out the cover art and the complete tracklist for In Another World :
