In an interview on the Mike James Rock Show, the Anthrax drummer spoke about the success of the band's latest album, "For All Kings," and commented on the lack of good albums being released these days:
“I think that when you make good albums and good songs, you have no limits. It's just a matter of reaching as many people as possible. I find the lack of good albums today really disturbing… If I say that the albums that come out nowadays are half good, half bad, people look at me like, 'Who the hell is he to say that?' You can't even talk about music these days. I take music very seriously. I've studied it since I was very young. So when I say something is missing, it's not just a personal opinion. It's because something is missing from what I've learned over the years that makes an album a good album.”
