Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante recently participated in a Reverb with drummer Jessica Burdeaux , known on YouTube for her cover videos.

In the video, Charlie and Jessica face off in a drumming challenge while Benante answers Burdeaux's questions. They show off their drumming skills, what they would play to get people dancing, and even a drum solo of The Beatles in a thrash metal or punk rock style.

One of the questions Jessica asked was what style of drumming interests Charlie Benante besides thrash metal, to which the drummer replied: “There are two types: I really like funk drummers, like James BrownJacob Starks and Clyde Stubblefield – I love the way they played with James and when he gave them space they took [the music] so sweetly. And I also like progressive rock drummers, like Neil Peart and Rush , which is inspiring.”
