Charity Carnival brings Rock and charitable actions

The event is organized by the USP Medical School Athletic Association

The Athletic Association of the USP Medical School is organizing a charity carnival parade, with charitable activities and shows. The “Med Pholia Against Childhood Cancer” will take place on February 7th.

The event will feature a free carnival show by the Bateria Opção Primeira de Pinheiros and the Banda Velhas Virgens, as well as the participation of Doutores da Alegria. During the day, there will be a toy drive for underprivileged children from the HCFMUSP Complex and the ITACI community, and promotion of blood and hair donation projects.

Organized by: A block party promoted by medical students from the University of São Paulo.

Date: 07/02/2015

Schedule: gathering from 11:00 AM between the Sumaré metro station and the ITACI Hospital. The parade departs at 3:00 PM, following the route along Oscar Freire Street, ending at the intersection with Artur de Azevedo Street (estimated parade time: 3 hours).

Who can participate: The event is open to all, everyone is invited to join our celebration! This project has the institutional support of HCFMUSP, Doutores da Alegria, Fundação Pró-Sangue, Associação das Voluntárias do HCFMUSP, Faculdade de Medicina da USP and AAAFMUSP.
