It's safe to say that Chad Smith, drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, had a great time during the band's visit to Brazil.

The drummer had already played Legião Urbana in a bar in Rio de Janeiro. He had gone to shows by Jorge and Mateus, Glenn Hughes , and the former leader of Pink Floyd, Roger Waters. He had visited a bakery with Glenn Hughes himself. And he had performed with a cover band in São Paulo, among other escapades.

However, this Saturday, the 18th, the drummer outdid himself and joined in the samba at the Portela. Besides playing with the percussionists of the famous samba school from Madureira, Chad Smith also posed for photos alongside Fábio Pavão, the school's president.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have concluded their series of five shows in Brazil.
