Through the Wikimetal with Oporto da Música, classic rock and metal albums that were difficult to find or had never even been released in Brazil are arriving monthly on the national market. The new editions of the titles in CD format, some with slipcases, are available in major stores and online via Wikimetal Store.

Deftones

Private Music, the new album from Deftones, is their first work in five years since the acclaimed Ohms (2020). Produced by Nick Raskulinecz, the result is a masterful collection of eleven tracks that serves as a new benchmark in the career of a band that has always championed limitless creativity and a healthy spirit of change. The project showcases Deftones at their most evolved.

Alice Cooper

Released in 1972, School's Out is Alice Cooper 's fifth album . The original cover (designed by Craig Braun ) had an opening shaped like a wooden school desk, similar to that of Thinks: School Stinks by the group Hotlegs , released two years earlier. Originally, the vinyl record was wrapped in a pair of panties, although this was later discontinued as it was discovered that paper panties were flammable. The desk photographed for the cover is on display at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas.

Saxon

Saxon 's ninth project , Destiny (1988), produced by Stephan Galfas , is the only one to feature the rhythm section of drummer Nigel Durham and bassist Paul Johnson . This exclusive version for Brazil includes 6 bonus tracks.

Solid Ball of Rock (1991), in turn, marked the beginning of a new phase for Saxon, bringing a heavier and more aggressive sound. The arrival of bassist Nibbs Carter had a great influence on the composition, which helped to renew the group's creative energy. The work is frequently cited as the beginning of the band's artistic recovery after a more commercial phase in the late 80s. This special edition includes 2 bonus tracks and is a must-have in the collection of rock and metal fans and collectors.
