Ace Frehley
Frehley's Comet (1987) is the second solo project by the former Kiss guitarist and was the first released after his departure from the band. Formed in 1984, the original band consisted of Ace (lead guitar, lead and backing vocals), Richie Scarlet (rhythm and lead guitar, lead and backing vocals), John Regan (bass, backing vocals), Arthur Stead (keyboards), and Anton Fig (drums). The group recorded several demos and songs around 1984 and 1985, and many of them were performed live; however, the songs from that time remain officially unreleased, and only a few of them made it onto the final recording of Frehley's Comet .
Mr. Bungle
Mr. Bungle is the self-titled debut album by the experimental rock band. Released in 1991, the album features several genre shifts, characteristic of the group, which contributed to their increased popularity and solidified a loyal audience. Mr. Bungle blends a variety of musical styles, primarily funk metal, avant-rock, alternative metal, ska and avant-garde jazz, elements of avant-garde metal, circus music, heavy metal, free jazz and funk. The lyrics, in turn, address various themes, ranging from the comedic to the dark or sexual.
