Tomb: Max Cavalera's wife tells Derrick Green to "f*ck off"

Gloria Cavalera responded to Derrick's comments about a possible reunion

Gloria Cavalera , wife and manager of Max Cavalera , insulted the current Sepultura , Derrick Green , after he made comments about a possible reunion of the band with Max.

“I think for some people it’s hard to move on,” Derrick said in an interview. “It’s hard for people to change, in general – because people are afraid of change. The unexpected can happen. It’s hard for certain people, but it’s okay. It’s just not where we are musically and, thank God, we’re able to move forward and not get stuck in the past. Maybe that’s just where they like to keep their minds.”

He continued: “I never wanted to be in this position because I’m an artist, and for me, it’s important to explore and evolve. Change is truly necessary. And this is something that happens in everyone’s life, so I accept it and move forward and live in the moments that are happening now.”

Derrick added: “I don’t worry too much about other people who are stuck in the past. It’s just something I don’t want to be a part of or be around right now. [Laughs]”

Yesterday, Gloria used her personal Facebook page to make a public post, writing: “Hey, I have something to say! Fuck off! Max and Iggor never talked about a reunion. Why do you think they broke up? Lol. Do you need to talk about Max and Iggor to get media attention? Yeah, it’s hard for you to move on! Max and Iggor can go back to their roots and all you can do is sing the lyrics my husband wrote!”

When someone commented on the post that Derrick's comments had been "fair," she replied, "Fair? Jesus Christ save us.".

Another person asked why the other band members didn't change the name Sepultura after Max left. "Well, I can speculate, but the truth makes everyone angry. We all know why they can't change their name. The question is... if Max is the person they insist he is, why sing his lyrics? I've never seen anyone sit in a kitchen chair to write lyrics. Only Max.".
