Cavalera , the project of Max and Iggor Cavalera , released their new single "Piledriver" this Tuesday, the 14th. The song is a collaboration with Street Fighter 6 , to celebrate the release of costume 4 for the character Zangief , from the fighting and action game developed by Capcom .

The band wrote “Piledriver” to refer to the Russian fighter who is a fictional character from the Street Fighter . Zangief Costume 4 will be available on October 15th, along with the C. Viper . A special avatar costume with the Cavalera band logo will also be available for free.

Takayuki Nakayama, the game's director, wrote on X : “Having grown up listening to Sepultura, Soulfly , and Cavalera Conspicuousness , I never imagined that one day I would work with heroes like Max and Iggor. When I found out they had accepted the job—bands I've loved since my school days—our sound team, composed of other metal lovers, and I were completely thrilled.”

“They showed us their raw and unique worldview in Morbid Visions . They made history with  Chaos AD , collaborated with my equally beloved Mike Patton on Roots (my favorite album). And they gave me so much motivation when I heard Back To The Primitive . What I’m trying to say is that I am truly and deeply grateful! Thank you.”
